Demolition Derby

By Tim Kupsick | Posted at 6:45 pm on Sunday, July 8, 2012 | Share | Comments (0)

Spent part of Saturday night in the muddy grounds of the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds. My buddy Will Jones was competing in the truck division of the demolition derby held before the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo begins this week. I had a great time shooting and hanging out with the derby fans of Wyoming. I was a little late to the party, but I was glad that there were so many competitors that the organizers had to break the events down into heats before the finals.

Here are some images, enjoy!

A Trip Down Film Lane

By Tim Kupsick | Posted at 4:35 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 | Share | Comments (0)

I shot some pics with black and white film a few months ago with a new film camera. Love what came of it! A little lightning and a feature from a few months ago seem to be a nice little addition to this blog. I hope you like the pics as much as I do!

Here are some pictures from my first day in New York City. I had a blast. My dogs are barkin’. But, the experience and the images, I felt were worth every step.

I hope you enjoy the pictures. Please leave comments.

Waiting in DIA

By Tim Kupsick | Posted at 6:36 pm on Friday, June 17, 2011 | Share | Comments (0)

I am waiting for my flight to New York City to begin boarding. Flight should leave in about an hour from now. I hope to be in Brooklyn by 8:30 eastern time. I cant wait to get on the island for a little sight seeing before the story gets moving.

Passangers wait at a gate in Denver International Airport as a thunder storm rolls in over the terminal. Flights were experiencing small delays because of the storm.

Finding Nimmo

By Tim Kupsick | Posted at 6:59 am on Monday, June 6, 2011 | Share | Comments (0)

I know the headline is lame, but I couldn’t resist. I spent Friday last week shooting a day in the life with one of the few kids that could put Wyoming on the map in professional baseball. It is pretty amazing to see someone with that much talent coming from a state of less than a million. After you chat with the kid you realize that he is more humble then the kid has talent, and that is saying a lot.

I had a great time. As soon as Clint, Douglas and myself got to the field, I really came out to shoot and make good pictures because that is what the paper wanted, a photo page. I wanted to do so much more then action photos from one of Nimmo’s last games as an American Legion ball player. I hope I did him justice.
